We are happy to announce that Prof. Dr. Tobias Oertel-Jäger joined MSCJ. Prof. Oertel-Jäger holds the chair for for Ergodic Theory and Dynamical Systems at the Mathematical Institute, University of Jena.

Prof. Oertel-Jäger is interested in time-evolution of mathematical models: transition from order to chaos, bifurcations, quasi-periodicity, influence of external forcing in non-autonomous systems. He works on applying Dynamical Systems theory to the natural sciences (e.g., physics, biology, climate, …). His group provides expertise on Dynamical Systems, Bifurcation Theory and Fractal Geometry.
